Featured in last week’s batch of photos***: …a ride-along with Washington State Patrol. The trooper’s vehicle is the last Crown Victoria Police Interceptor issued to the agency. If you pop the hood, you’ll see a handwritten message dedicating the “mobile office”. The deputy also has a sweet view during his patrols - fiery sunsets in Lincoln County.

…two senior volunteers with Spokane COPS, a law enforcement non-profit, meet a couple times a week at the Donut Parade in east Spokane. As the volunteers said themselves, “you gotta have a coffee break.”

…I found a dragon fly resting on someone’s door decor. At first I didn’t know if it was real. Don’t hate me, but I poked it with my monopod to see if it was alive. It was.

…so there was this huge hole in the ground and I couldn’t resist. Poor homeowners in north Spokane unfortunately had to deal with flooding yards, garages, basements and of course, a giant hole in the ground outside their homes.

*** Apparently you can’t back-date blog posts in Tumblr so let’s pretend I did this last week.
