Regarding color blindness
I’m not sure how we got onto this topic, but when I bumped into councilman Steve Salvatori outside the elevators of City Hall, he mentioned he was color blind.
He couldn’t tell me what color my hair is, but described it as “light colored”.
To avoid mismatching socks, he wears only white socks. When he does wear color, it’s typically blue because that’s one color he can see along with some shades of yellow.
