A moment at Old City Hall

I stopped by the Office of the Police Ombudsman this afternoon after talking to officers about a break-in at old City Hall. During the start of my conversation with Tim Burns, I paused to hear a strange repetitive thumping coming from next door.

Burns said there’s a gym next to him and he can hear people on the treadmill.

“It’s annoying,” Burns added, but he’s able to tune it out.

Burns also told me he laid to rest his fish of three years. The beta named “Fish” died last week. He mourned for about a day and then he got a new one he might called “Goldie” for its gold appearance.
