Post sushi wine.
We sat at Nectar Tasting Room listening to a guitarist. We tried to determine the very moment he would switch over to the loop. The light came in just right at a 7:30 p.m. angle near the couches. While swirling the wine, ambient lights captured nicely in the liquid vibrations of a Hiney red blend.
To capture a similar effect, swirl your wine like you would any red. Let go of the glass and immediately snap a photo while it’s still circling around the glass. Smokey effect that captures any reflections in the room.

Recipe For a Post Falls Roadtrip

Post Falls | KXLY

A new bill that passed the House Wednesday is going to make it a little easier for brewers to do what they do best, brew beer.

The senate bill removes restrictions for brewers that produce fewer than 30,000 barrels of beer annually to allow a financial interest in one additional brewery that also produces fewer than 30,000 barrels of beer annually. This applies to Fred Colby, the owner of Laughing Dog Brewery in Ponderay, Idaho, who plans to partner with a new venture in Post Falls.

Colby plans on helping out the new brewery in Post Falls opening this summer. The Selkirk Abbey Brewing Co. plans on specializing in belgians.

This is a recipe for a perfect Post Falls road trip. They’ll be located in the same building complex as Doma Coffee. Sounds like an even better recipe for a delicious partnership.

I asked Colby if they could make a coffee stout, but he said belgian stouts are very rare. They do exist though! The first Google result brought me to a “Buffalo Belgian Stout”. I’m not sure if I’d like that though.

It also should be said that the bill also depends on the Governor’s signature in Idaho.

Proposed policy changes would allow entertainers to drink on stage

Policies in Washington could be changing to allow musicians to drink on stage during performances.

The Seattle PI reported yesterday that representatives from Seattle’s nightlife scene met with the state’s Liquor Control Board to discuss potential changes to guidelines that currently say musicians and entertainers can not drink on stage.
