While cleaning out what was formally a guest room to make way for an office, Mike found this embarrassing doodle in a sketch book. In early 2010, I started drafting my Halloween costume that I never got around to.
Apparently I wanted to be Twitter for Halloween. Not quite a sexy Twitter, but a well-polished one.
Mike handed this sketch to me and I was a mix of embarrassed and shocked that he went through my sketchbook. At least he didn’t find my drawings of —
Notes:
Twitter logo is old logo.
I can’t draw heels.
I’m not sure why I thanked @SpoCool for Sangria.

Racing Pumpkins Down Spokane's South Hill

Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes raced to victory Saturday morning for the first ever Great Pumpkin Race on Spokane’s South Hill.

The gourd-like squashes were redesigned into racing machines by families so they could meet their fate into a pile of hay bails at the bottom of 17th and Madison. Some pumpkins had roller skate wheels spiked through the shell. Others were simply duct taped to a skate board for maxiumum speed velocity.
